‘Thor’: Loki remains the complicated brother in ‘Tales of Asgard’

In theaters, “Thor” has brought in $242 million in worldwide box office so far and introduced Asgard to a new audience that never read the Marvel Comics adventures of Odin’s noble son. Marvel is hoping those new arrivals to the mythology will want to dig deeper, and on May 17, they can do that with a new DVD release, the animated “Thor: Tales of Asgard,” which goes back to the days of a young prince looking to prove himself and find his place in the realm eternal.
