The nominations for the 16th annual D.I.C.E. Awards have been announced by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, and the wordless, nonviolent game “Journey” looks to be a favorite, with 11 nominations.

The PlayStation 3 exclusive indie game picked up nominations for game of the year, achievement in game direction, innovation, original music composition and story, among others. When the game was released online last March, it quickly became the fastest-selling title ever in the PlayStation Store.

Other nominees for game of the year include “Borderlands 2,” “Far Cry 3,” “The Walking Dead” and “XCOM: Enemy Unknown.”

“The Walking Dead” adventure game from Telltale Games received eight nominations overall, “Far Cry 3” from Ubisoft received seven, “Halo 4” from Microsoft got six, “Borderlands 2” from 2K Games and “Dishonored” from Bethesda Softworks each got five apiece.

The awards will be handed out in a ceremony at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Feb. 7 during the D.I.C.E. Summit. (D.I.C.E. stands for Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain).

Nerdist podcast and AMC’s “Talking Dead” host Chris Hardwick will emcee the awards.

A complete list of the nominees can be found here.
