Link“The Hunger Games” fans can get a glimpse of Katniss, Rue, Peeta, Gale and other characters from the upcoming film in a series of character-based movie posters, released Friday.
The movie, based on the bestselling novels by author Suzanne Collins, opens in theaters on March 14. “The Hunger Games” series follows a cruel competition among children forced to fight to the death for the entertainment of television viewers and for the political gain of the masters of Panem, a post-apocalyptic nation in Earth’s future.
Lionsgate aired a clip of the movie at the MTV Video Music Awards and released several images from the film to mixed reaction from fans anxious to see their beloved characters portrayed accurately on the big screen. Oscar-nominated “Winter’s Bone” actress Jennifer Lawrence plays the story’s heroine Katniss Everdeen, a girl who volunteers to enter the bloody fray in place of her younger sister. Other cast members include Liam Hemsworth as Gale, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta, “Colombiana” actress Amandia Stenberg as Rue and Woody Harrelson as Haymitch.

I love the Hunger Games, Suzanne Collins is a great writer, she brings so much emotion to the books, I cried like a baby when i finished Mockingjay – the series is AMAZING and I think everyone will be great in the movie!!! Super excited!!!
Isn't it weird…. all characters are facing left but Katniss… and Rue is facing down… I think Katniss's is facing right because we're watching all of them since HER point of view… and cuz she's the main character…. but why is rue facing down? Because… of all the characters there… she's not the only one that dies…. (SPOILER*) Cinna and Cato die too…. and they're facing up… not down… any thoughts?

I'm a dutch eleven year old girl and i'm your BIGGEST fan! everybody says that and think that but in real its not true. i mean whats the " BIGGEST fan " how manny stuff you have? NO! How manny you have seen your movie? No! (i have THE HUNGER GAMES now a week and i have seen it vife times. hihi) hey proplably you dont see this but my biggest dream is to meat JENNIFER AND JOSH!!!!! i CANT wait to see the next movie!!
