“Ender’s Game,” “Divergent,” “Dexter” and a 20th anniversary celebration of “The X-Files” with show creator Chris Carter are among the marquee draws on the schedule for the first day of San Diego’s Comic-Con International, Thursday, July 18.

The pop culture expo unveiled the complete programming schedule for the first day of the annual confab, which draws some 125,000 fans from across the globe. It marks the first in a series of announcements that will roll out during the holiday weekend, though details regarding a number of the panels and presentations already had been made public.

The biggest film titles on the schedule are two upcoming projects from Summit: “Divergent,” set for release next March, is the adaptation of Veronica Roth’s young adult bestseller and will be represented in the convention’s lead arena, the 6,500-seat Hall H, with a panel comprising Roth, the film’s director Neil Burger and cast members Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Miles Teller, Maggie Q, Ansel Elgort, Mekhi Phifer, Ben Lamb, Ben Lloyd-Hughes and Christian Madsen.

The studio will screen footage from the movie.

Also during the Summit Hall H panel, Harrison Ford will join cast mates Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfeld and Abigail Breslin on stage for a discussion of November’s “Ender’s Game,” the anticipated adaptation of Orson Scott Card’s 1985 novel. The film’s writer-director Gavin Hood and producer Roberto Orci will participate as well.

Making its final Comic-Con appearance, Showtime’s hit serial killer series “Dexter” will close out the Hall H programming Thursday with an hour-long panel featuring star Michael C. Hall and actors Jennifer Carpenter, David Zayas, James Remar and Yvonne Strahovski. Also appearing will be executive producers John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton, Scott Buck and Manny Coto.

“Dexter” is now in its eighth and final season.

Veterans will notice that the Hall H lineup, typically packed with movie studio presentations, has a different sort of feel, with some smaller projects featured on the schedule. The first movie to take the stage will be “Europa Report,” an indie film set for theatrical release Aug. 2. The film stars Sharlto Copley (“District 9,” the upcoming “Elysium”) as a member of an international crew of astronauts that sets out on a mission to search for life on one of Jupiter’s moons.

One event that’s sure to be one of the convention’s biggest draws isn’t even happening in the hall, but rather the TV-focused Ballroom 20. In honor of “The X-Files'” 20th anniversary, series creator Carter and writer/producers David Amann, Vince Gilligan, Howard Gordon, Darin Morgan, Glen Morgan, John Shiban and Jim Wong to discuss the landmark show. Stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are widely expected to attend, but their names did not appear on the official lineup
