[Correction: In an earlier version of this post, I mistakenly said that The Uncanny X-Force was a motion comic. The trailer below and the announcement is for the comic book series in print, not a motion comic. ]
Marvel’s motion comics machine strikes again, but this time it’s actually for a trailer announcing a comic book series. Uncanny X-Force is not yet joining Iron Man, Spider-Woman and the Astonishing X-Men as a motion comic, but the trailer definitely makes it seem like a possibility.
They’re an interesting team in that, for a while now, Wolverine and his merry band of hard-core mutants were doing the things that the X-Men (as heroes) couldn’t touch (i.e. killing!). An undercover squad sanctioned by Cyclops, they were recently outed to other members of the X-Men, and promptly disbanded.
Or at least, that’s what everyone, including Cyclops, thinks. The series comes to your local comic book store on Oct. 6. Have a look.
