The big holiday games of 2012 are currently hitting shelves, with “Halo 4,” “Assassin’s Creed III” and “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2″ all reaching gamers’ hands in recent weeks. But even before we’ve indulged in the post-Thanksgiving-dinner video game marathons, eyes are turned toward 2013 and what could consume hundreds of gaming hours in the new year. We’re talking, of course, about the new trailer for Rockstar Games’ “Grand Theft Auto V.”
The new trailer hints at the story and characters for the game, which promises to be the largest, most complex installment in the series so far. The game will feature three main antagonists and will boast a game world larger than “Grand Theft Auto IV,” “Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas” and “Red Dead Redemption” combined.
The game will be released in spring 2013. Many gamers will be setting aside the rest of the year.
