‘Ghostbusters,’ ‘Phantasm,’ ‘Exorcist’ hit L.A. screens this weekend

If you’ve seen “Paranormal Activity 2” but are dying for some more fright nights (especially with Halloween upon us this Sunday), fear not. There are plenty of terrific horror films out there thanks to the American Cinematheque, the Silent Movie Theatre, the New Beverly Cinema, the UCLA Film and Television Archive and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, among others.
