A MONTH OF MAGIC: Hero Complex is counting down to the Nov. 19 release of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1” — the penultimate film in the history-making “Potter” franchise — with exclusive interviews, photos, videos and reports from the set. Today’s post: Tom Felton talks about his favorite installments in the film franchise.
Tom Felton, who has brought memorable sneer and snarl to the character of Draco Malfoy, says that his two favorite “Harry Potter” films have been the second and the sixth — but he also said that will change with the release of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1” on Nov. 19 and “Part 2″ next summer.
“My favorite, story wise, was the ‘Chamber of Secrets’; there’s something about that concept that I find very intriguing and then, as far as filming, my favorite was the ‘Half-Blood Prince’; it was the most fun to make,” Felton said. “But, without question, these two are going to blow all of the rest of them away. I really believe that. They are going to be no disappointments. The last two will not disappoint, that’s something you can rest assured about.”

I am excited to see how the final volume of Harry Potter will be divided into 2 movies. I feel honored to have been able to follow the books and see the movies with my daughter. I feel as though something will be missing when all is said and done. I want to thank J. K. Rowling for her wonderful imagination and all the actors for taking me into their roles! I love them all bad and good! I know I will shed many tears this year and next as a big chapter in my life ends. Harry Potter will live on forever!!!

I certainly hope they don't make the mistake they made in 6 and cut out the violent parts. These stories gradually got more serious and it was a big mistake to take that away. As the characters aged so too did the age of the readers, the kid readers anyway. so its a mistake to try to keep the later movies age appropriate for the same age that the first few were made for… the people who followed the books certainly didnt stay the same age.

I love you Tom. You play Draco so well. I have read the last book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows so many times. At the end Draco kind of saves Harry's life when there is a fire in the Room of Requirement. Was that difficult to play since you have to be mean to Harry for over a decade?

omfg I love harry potter! My whole family thinks Im crazy in love with the movies. I watch them every other day! Even though I love J.K.'s books are better then the films simply because they lack important detail but I love them both all the same.
