From the moment Voldemort marked him with a lightning-shaped scar, Harry Potter was destined for greatness. The same could be said of Daniel Radcliffe, marked for greatness when he was plucked out of throngs of children to play the boy wizard on the big screen.
Harry Potter’s Hogwarts adventure began on his 11th birthday, when Hagrid whisked him away from the Dursleys and off to a place of potions and spells. At Hogwarts, Harry befriended Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley — heroes in their own right who helped and stood by him year after year as he faced dragons, Dementors and Death Eaters. As Harry explored all sorts of new delights and dangers, from Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans to Horcruxes, millions of moviegoers also fell in love with the wizarding world.

apparently, some cinemas are showing all 8 films together this summer, so the really hardcore fans can spend the day watching them all at the cinema… personally, i'm going to buy the box set, invite everyone round and watch them all in my living room

wow… its over, change sucks. everyone will miss harry potter and amazing adventures that were brought to life through the movies. personally i was about the same age when the first movie came out and i have grown just as the characters have, i think its something a lot of people can say; its how we all relate to this magical world. I'm still waiting for my letter =)
