LinkTHE LAST SPELL: “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 2” closes out a decade of Hogwarts in Hollywood. Hero Complex has been counting down to the release of the final film in the magical franchise with exclusive interviews and photos. Today: We travel through Harry Potter history for the ultimate look at Daniel Radcliffe‘s portrayal of the boy who lived.
From the moment Voldemort marked him with a lightning-shaped scar, Harry Potter was destined for greatness. The same could be said of Daniel Radcliffe, marked for greatness when he was plucked out of throngs of children to play the boy wizard on the big screen.
Harry Potter’s Hogwarts adventure began on his 11th birthday, when Hagrid whisked him away from the Dursleys and off to a place of potions and spells. At Hogwarts, Harry befriended Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley — heroes in their own right who helped and stood by him year after year as he faced dragons, Dementors and Death Eaters. As Harry explored all sorts of new delights and dangers, from Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans to Horcruxes, millions of moviegoers also fell in love with the wizarding world.
Alongside costars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, Radcliffe’s portrayal of Harry has sustained the franchise for 10 years and eight films. Here’s a look back at some of Harry’s most memorable moments on the screen.

Have read all the books. And after this week, I'll be able to say, "saw all the movies. It doesn't really end there, but will live on as REMINISCING. Isn't that the reason why we buy DVD's? To go over them at our own leisure. I'm an old bitty of 74 yrs. who fell in love with these stories from the first day they came out. Harry will live in our hearts forever.
