Last year, I asked artist Nathan Sawaya to create one of his signature Lego creations for the Hero Complex Film Festival and I’m thrilled to say that he’s done just that and more – he’s created two one-of-a-kind heroic pieces that will be on display all weekend at the event. Some artists use paint, others bronze…Sawaya opts to build large-scale sculptures exclusively out of Lego toy building blocks. His sculptures are featured in public and private collections worldwide as well as several touring exhibits with artwork currently on display in Paris, France and Melbourne, Australia. Fans can feel free to pose for photos with the sculptures and can reach Sawaya through his website.
