Emma Stone (Lucasfilm)
Do not underestimate the power of the farce. To encourage fans to join the galactic battle against cancer, Lucasfilm has put together a fun team of stars — Emma Stone, Samuel L. Jackson, Zach Galifianakis, Seth Rogen, Aziz Ansari, Bill Hader, Ed Helms, Ken Jeong, Jaime King and Andy Samberg — to spoof scenes from the old-school Jedi universe. It’s part of the Use the Force for Good campaign to promote and benefit Stand Up to Cancer.
The campaign includes a new line of “Star Wars” T-shirts (like the one Stone is wearing above), a huge EBay auction that includes rare and one-of-a-kind “Star Wars” experiences (including a dinner date with George Lucas, John Lasseter and Francis Ford Coppola) and a slate of “Star Wars” theme nights at Major League Baseball games across the country in September.
