The Joker: Trickster unbound

As a trickster spirit, Joker invites a constant reinvention even after seven decades. "That character can connect to the peyote stories of Native American mythology and Loki in Norse mythology," "Dark Knight" co-writer Jonathan Nolan said in 2009.
