Comic-Con 2014: Frank Miller joins Batman 75 festivities

The man who redefined Batman is coming to Comic-Con. Frank Miller, who wrote and penciled 1986′s game-changing Batman miniseries “The Dark Knight Returns” (along with “Sin City” and “300,” among many others), will be appearing at a panel chock-full of Bat-artists and scribes, including Grant Morrison, Denny O’Neil, Neal Adams, the current “Batman” creative team of writer Scott Snyder and artist Greg Capullo, and DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns. Warner Bros. announced the panel “Batman 75: Legends of the Dark Knight,” which will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, as part of DC Entertainment’s Comic-Con plans to celebrate the Caped Crusader’s diamond jubilee. ‘Batman: Arkham Knight’: Batmobile center stage in clip from 2015 game

Batman is getting a next-gen makeover — and so is the Batmobile. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment unveiled the first footage of the Batmobile from Rocksteady Studios‘ “Batman: Arkham Knight,”  which had been set for release later this year but is now due for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2015. The follow-up to 2009′s “Arkham Asylum” and 2011′s “Arkham City,” “Arkham Knight” is set one year after the conclusion of “Arkham City” and will offer players a chance to lead the Dark Knight on a mission through Gotham and take on the Scarecrow, who has united with a familiar crew of rogue’s gallery regulars. ‘Batman: Arkham Knight’: Rocksteady readies game for next-gen consoles

Batman is getting a next-gen makeover. “Batman: Arkham Knight” will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC later this year, the fourth console edition of the popular “Arkham” series and the third to be overseen by London’s Rocksteady Studios. According to a Warner Bros. Interactive release, the new game will serve as the “conclusion” of the “Arkham” series. Regular Batman super villains will return, as the Caped Crusader is forced to hold off a threat to Gotham spearheaded by the Scarecrow. Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn are also said to be featured in the game. The upcoming title will be the first “Arkham” game to feature a playable Batmobile.
