“Conan,” the late-night TBS series hosted by self-professed nerd and comic critic Conan O’Brien, will broadcast from San Diego’s Spreckels Theatre for the week of July 8-12, 2015. According to a network announcement Monday, the shoot will mark the first time ever that a late-night show has broadcast from the conference-cum-party that typically draws some 130,000 visitors, many decked out in their finest cosplay duds. In 2011, he appeared at Comic-Con as The Flaming C, a superhero alter ego he created with acclaimed DC animator Bruce Timm.
