‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ trailer: high on explosions, low on pizza

A new trailer has arrived for “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” the upcoming film produced by explosioneer Michael Bay and directed by Jonathan Liebesman. True to form, it’s a riot of ninja moves, skateboard getaways and stuff blowing up all over New York City. However, there is still no pizza involved. What gives? There is a scene in which Megan Fox, as reporter April O’Neil, gets a talking to for recording the turtles with her iPhone. She also clarifies, when asked by fellow non-turtle Will Arnett, that the turtles are NOT aliens, so go ahead and put that mess out of your mind. Whoopi Goldberg also makes an appearance, but even more important there’s Shredder, the movie’s villain who is attacking the Big Apple.
