The first teaser video for the fifth season of “Game of Thrones” is out, but don’t get too excited.

The trailer, posted to the hit HBO series’ Twitter account, is only 10 seconds long, offering just a brief glimpse of Arya Stark (Maisie Williams).

Arya is shown stabbing someone, holding a coin, running through trees and wrapping her hand around a sword hilt, while the voice of red priestess Melisandra (Carice van Houten) intones, “I see a darkness in you.”

The tweet also linked to ThreeEyedRaven.com, a promotional website where fans can sign up to receive “Game of Thrones” updates via Twitter or SMS. The Three Eyed Raven, as fans know, is a reference to another child in the Stark brood — the prescient warg Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright).

The sprawling fantasy adventure series, based on the books by George R. R. Martin, returns next spring.

  1. Alix says:

Bran stark is NOT the Three Eyed Raven – he went to find him and did – the Three Eyed Raven is Brynden Rivers AKA Bloodraven a Targaryen legitimised bastard who came to the wall with Maester Aemon a long time ago..
