Meet “The Simpsons” — or, more precisely, meet the people who put the words in their mouth. Nine of the current writers for the Fox series will come together at the UCLA Faculty Center on Wednesday for a panel and mixer presented by the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television and the school’s Young Alumni Program. The featured writers are Joel Cohen, Kevin Curran, John Frink, Tom Gammill, Dan Greaney, Rob LaZebnik, Bill Odenkirk, Michael Price and David Silverman, and the panel will be moderated by Hero Complex lead writer Geoff Boucher. The 7:30 p.m. event is free, but space is limited and RSVPs are suggested. To sign up, call (310) 206-1349, or send an email to devo@tft.ucla.edu.
