‘Walking Dead’: New website to launch this weekend
Keeping tabs on Robert Kirkman’s sprawling “The Walking Dead” empire is about to get easier.
On Sunday, Kirkman and his Image Comics imprint Skybound will launch thewalkingdead.com — an online clearinghouse for all things “The Walking Dead.”
According to a release sent to The Times, the site will have information not just about the comic books and graphic novels, but also recaps of the television show and news about “The Walking Dead” video games.
There will also be exclusive contests, information about live “The Walking Dead” events, and a “The Walking Dead” wiki.
Zombie quiz: Prove you’re smarter than a zombie
Thewalkingdead.com will not go live until Sunday, and as of Friday evening, there wasn’t even a place holder on the site yet, but we were able to get a screenshot of what it will look like.
The site’s launch is timed to the return of “The Walking Dead” to AMC. The second half of the third season starts on Sunday at 9 p.m.
