Christian Bale apologizes: ‘I acted like a punk’

Feb. 06, 2009 | 7:49 p.m.

Christian Bale called in to the Kevin and Bean show on KROQ-FM (106.7) in Los Angeles to say he was sorry for the tantrum on the set of "Terminator Salvation" that was recorded and has been pinging across the Internet for days.

"It has been a miserable week for me. I know I have a potty mouth …, but I was way out of order. I acted like a punk. I regret that…. I make no excuses — it is inexcusable."

He went on to say that he hoped the backlash from his behavior wouldn’t stop people from seeing the film.

"I’m asking people, please do not allow my one-time lapse in judgment, my incredibly embarrassing meltdown, to overshadow this movie and to have all of those people’s hard work  go to waste."

He should be kicked off the film for his behavior. They should replace him with a socially conscious performer like Clay Aiken — ok, you got me, i can't say that with a straight face. Bale rocks! He will be the best actor to ever perform in this (tired) franchise

LOL!! You had me for 1/2 a second. I almost fell out of my chair!!

  3. JJ says:

This actor is just another spoiled brat who has no real life experience, which explains his outbursts over trivial matters. His real life character is far from what he makes himself to be. As a REAL soldier, I laugh at his trivial emotions. A real man keeps his cool, always!

  4. jersey says:

Bale…no real life experiences? Sounds like you know him personally….

Time is money because the previous saying goes, and by studying this publish, I noticed that I saved myself quite a lot of valuable time, which might have been otherwise spent on studying low consistency info throughout the almighty web. Thanks for the straight to the point, worthwhile enter!
