What’s the most anticipated movie of 2012? Well, “The Hobbit” seems poised to become a global happening and there’s already intense fan curiosity about “The Avengers“ and “The Amazing Spider-Man“ but, really, there’s no way any of those upcoming movies can compete with the Gotham City behemoth created by Christopher Nolan and his team.
The latest proof: The new trailer for “The Dark Knight Rises” smashed the record for most combined downloads through the iTunes Movie Trailers site and the iTunes Trailers iOS app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The trailer went online at 10 a.m. Monday morning and was viewed more than 12.5 million times in the next 24 hours, breaking the previous record — held by the trailer for Joss Whedon’s “The Avengers” — by well over 2 million.
If you haven’t seen it already, here it is … and if you have seen it, we bet you’re still going to watch it again, aren’t you?

It's not just the most anticipated movie of 2012, it's the most anticipated movie of our time. The Dark Knight Rises will be the end of the finest movie franchise in cinema history and a movie to end all movies. As someone said on a previous site I viewed, "I'm more excited than a grown man should be". My thoughts exactly, this excitement and anticipation is fantastic.
Cheers to Nolan and his Associates.
What's next Mr. Nolan?
Hyperbole much?
Yes, of course, Hyperbole. Fantastic word. Thanks for the reply. Cheer.s
Yes, of course, hyperbole. That is such a fantastic word. I would also like to add that I was speaking for myself in the last comment, no one else. It's not a report, just an opinion. Thank you for your reply. Cheers.
