I watched this video below and all I could think about was an Ewok in a red suit dancing in Agent Cooper’s dream.
“I had next-door-to-zero interest” is my new fave new phrase.

that's insane
Wow crazy. Imagine if he had directed a movie like "Dune", either there would have been dead people wrapped in plastic being found all the time, or he would have just been proven a reasonably capable science fiction director!
Eraserhead as a jedi, ahh, if only.
There was also talk back in the day of having Lynch do Batman, before Tim Burton was considered.
And Lynch could have cast Batman straight out of Blue Velvet: Kyle McLachlan as the Dark Knight (he has a better chin and plays tortured way better than Keaton); Laura Dern as Vicki Vale; Isabella Rossellini as Catwoman; Dennis Hopper as the Joker; Dean Stockwell as the Riddler; and Jack Nance as Commissioner Gordon.
That would be the most awesome movie that never got made.
Dennis Hopper as The Joker?!?! You just broke my Nerd. Full of Win.
