Life imitates comics: Bernie Madoff as the Joker

The Joker surged in popular culture with the release of “The Dark Knight” and Heath Ledger’s posthumous Oscar certainly didn’t dampen the trend. Here’s a recent photo by Timothy A. Clary of Getty/AFP capturing the real-life bad guy smirking from a newsstand in New York…or should I just call it Gotham?
