I think after 3 films Tobey McGuire has done his due. He didi agreat job as bringing Peter Parker to life and is commended. But for any actor,after playing Hamlet on the stage for 500 performances,they want to move on to other new projects which allow them to stretch their talent.
A new actor can fill in the role for the next three films and set his own imprint on a great character. I'm looking forward for the new cast and the new direction of Sam Raimi.
