For “Star Trek” fans, the Laemmle Royal Theatre in West L.A. is the place to Klingon to the past this summer.
The 600-seat theater will show the first six “Trek” feature films in Saturday midnight screenings — all of them in galaxy-class size, too, with 70 mm. prints.
June 12: “Star Trek: The Motion Picture” (1979), with an appearance by actress Arlene Martel, who portrayed T’Pring in the original-series episode “Amok Time.” (Pending professional commitments)
June 19: “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan” (1982), with an appearance by director Nicholas Meyer.
June 26: “Star Trek III: The Search for Spock.” (1984)
July 10: “Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home” (1986), with an appearance by actress Catherine Hicks who portrayed Dr. Gillian Taylor.
July 17: “Star Trek V: The Final Frontier” (1989), with an an appearance by actor Walter Koenig (Lt. Pavel Chekov).
July 24: “Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country” (1991) An appearance by actor George Takei (Lt. Commander Hikaru Sulu). (Pending professional commitments).
