Worth checking out: Patrick Kevin Day has put together a smart photo gallery called The Politics of Horror that dissects the poltical messaging and subtexts behind classic scary films such as Ridley Scott’s 1979 landmark “Alien” (shown above in a scene with the creature menacing Harry Dean Stanton).
